The Billericay Art Trail (TBAT) is part of the annual Essex Summer of Art and includes works from enthusiastic amateurs to professionals.
The first Billericay Art Trail was held in 2012 and is organised by local volunteers with major financial support from Billericay Town Council.
The annual Billericay Beer Festival is organised by the Lions Club of Billericay and held at Billericay Town Football Club home ground in June.
Each year the Town Council and local businesses sponsor Christmas lights up the High Street in Billericay and there is a switching on ceremony.
The Rotary Club of Billericay Soap Box Derby raises money for charities, schools and organisations locally.
The event takes place at Sun Corner and was inspired by the Red Bull Soap Box races held across the world.
Each year the Billericay Rountable provide one of the largest charity firework displays in Essex, at the well loved Lake Meadows Park in Billericay.
Every year the The Rotary Club of Billericay Mayflower join together with other service clubs in the town to create a Christmas wonderland by closing off the High Street to traffic and offering a range of fun activities and shopping.
The Billericay Summerfest is the Rotary Club of Billericay Mayflower’s summer community and charity fund raising event attracting over 5000+ attendees at Sun Corner.
We have followed key Billericay events since our formation in 2011 and as some have flourished, others have finished or no longer run in the same capacity.
