Ferrari parade - Billericay High Street

Article by Conor Gogarty: Hundreds gathered to watch a stream of jaw dropping Ferraris drive through Billericay High Street today.

110 privately owned cars travelled from a secret location on Saturday (July 22), through Billericay High Street this afternoon.

They then moved to Bond Street in Chelmsofd, where they were put on show at 2pm, again drawing huge crowds.

Next up on their journey is Colchester via Maldon, passing through Maldon High Street (between Spital Road and Market Hill) at around 4.45pm. The parade will then arrive in Colchester at 5.30pm.

Among the cars will be a Ferrari Laferrari Aperta worth around £6 million, a Ferrari California, a Ferrari Testarossa and a Ferrari 250GT Berlinetta – which has been placed fifth on the list of the greatest Ferraris of all time.

Enzo Ferrari drove the 125 S, the first car to bear his name, out of the factory gates on March 12, 1947.

The company has most recently created the LaFerrari Aperta, on open-top version of the LaFerrari hybrid hypercar, to mark the 70th anniversary of the company's foundation.
