billericay-boots-thiefEssex Police are appealing to members of the public to help identify a man caught shoplifting on CCTV earlier this month.

The suspect was recorded by cameras removing around £30 worth of cosmetics in pharmaceutical store Boots, in Billericay High Street around 3.20pm on Monday (August 18).

The goods were allegedly concealed in the man's trousers before he left the store without paying for the items.

He is described as white and was wearing a purple polo shirt with a white collar, dark blue jeans and black shoes.

Anyone who recognises the man is asked to call PC Patrick Walsh at Basildon police station on 101.
