A 31-year-old from Wickford was found unconscious in the street after reportedly being attacked outside Reids bar in Laindon Road, Billericay.

Police and paramedics were called to the scene shortly after the alleged attack, which happened at around 1.15am on Sunday, August 18.

The man was rushed to hospital while a cordon was set up outside the club and forensic officers carried out investigations.

Yesterday, nine days after the attack, the man died of his injuries in hospital while surrounded by his family.
