Sarah Williams with vandalised car

A "jealous" vandal who casually keyed a £92,000 sports car in broad daylight near Billericay station has had a bounty placed on his head.

Stephanie Williams returned to her beloved black Audi R8 parked in Radford Way on Sunday, December 22 to find every panel on her car had been badly scratched, causing £10,000 worth of damage to a vehicle.

Incensed by CCTV footage which showed the culprit casually saunter up to the car on his way to the station, Miss Williams is offering £1,500 for to anyone who provides information which leads to the arrest of the culprit she dubbed a “jealous idiot”.

The only thing I can think is that someone was jealous they didn’t have such a nice car.[/quote]

She continued; "I can’t even begin to tell you how hard it was to take. It’s what you work hard for and someone who has no concept of that comes and takes it from you. And That is why I’m willing to give away £1,500 – they need to be brought to justice.”

The suspect – who was wearing a dark hoodie, jeans and a pair of white trainers – was caught on CCTV shortly before 2pm.

Miss Williams, of who lives in Woodlands Road, Wickford, estimates she works a 90-hour week tutoring teaching children through her S6 Tutoring Academy.

She has also promised to give any costs recouped to a charity close to her heart, Hornchurch-based HBBS Counselling, which supports that caters for adults and children struggling with a bereavement or traumatic loss.

“If it leads to an arrest then I’d give it to them. I’d much prefer to see it go to them than on getting my car painted. I was just numb from the shock of it at first but anyone who knows me knows I don’t let things get the better of me,” she added.
