Runners at Skylark 3K run

Following the success of the ‘Skylarks 3K Race’ which took place at the Wick Country Park this month (April), the event is set to be repeated this July 2011.

The 3K race will once again be held at the Wick Country Park with all proceeds going towards further development of the Park. Runners are invited to the ‘Skylarks 3K Race’ being held at the beauty spot managed by Basildon Council, on the evening of Wednesday 20 July.

Organised by the Friends of the Wick Country Park and supported by Basildon Council, in conjunction with Pitsea Running Club, the race starts at 7:30pm and is open to all ages and abilities; however children under 9 years of age need to be accompanied by an adult.
