Billericay Brewing are pleased to announce that their new shop and micropub will open at 10am on Friday 5th December. The new outlet is located at 52 Chapel Street, Billericay, next to the brewery.
Billericay Brewing have been brewing using their own brewery (54B/C Chapel Street, Billericay) since January of this year, having brewed at Pitfield Brewery for the previous year.
They have a range of 6 permanent beers including Mayflower Gold, Billericay Blonde and Billericay Dickie and are starting to brew regular seasonal specials such as their latest dark ale Mild Bill. Their beers have been available in bottles from their existing smaller shop and other local outlets. Draught ales have featured at a number of local pubs and beer festivals.
The new outlet will feature a larger retail area and micropub. A micropub is a very small pub, featuring mainly real ales following the premise of Keep It Small, Keep It Simple. The micropub and shop will showcase Billericay Brewing’s beers but will also feature other local beers from Essex and London microbreweries plus selected guest beers from other UK and international breweries. Customers will now be able to enjoy these beers both at the premises or to take home.
Brewery tours, tasting evenings and Brewer for The Day experiences are offered as well as bespoke labelled beers for special occasions such as birthdays and weddings. These speciality products and gift packs make ideal presents for any beer lover.
The shop and micropub will initially be open 10am-5pm Tuesday and Wednesday 10am-8pm Thursday, Friday and Saturday, but with extended hours in the run up to Christmas – see the website and Facebook page for exact times.
