Article by Piers Meyler: Cars damaged include a Vauxhall Corsa, Nissan Micra, Ford Fiesta, Fiat 500, Volkswagen Golf, Skoda Superb, Ford Focus, Ford Puma and an MG MGF.
The damage comes less than two weeks after four cars were targeted in the Hurlock Road on the night of January 21.
On that same evening vandals targeted cars in Ganley Close and Greenway too.
It's out of control. Three of the cars that were smashed belong to people over 70 who now are fearing for their wellbeing and cannot afford to repair their cars again. It's absolutely terrifying for them to be in the area now even though it's such a quiet road. Chances are the attack will keep on happening, with no given reason and the police have repeatedly told us there is nothing they can do. It's a shame the people on this road are now being targeted in a cycle and we are now left feeling completely exposed and unable to live happy lives waiting for this to happen every night.
Detectives say they are unsure at this stage how the damage was caused.
All the vehicles had windows smashed on the off-side and a vehicle was heard driving away at speed but it was not seen. The road had suffered a similar spate of damage a week ago. Police are carrying out enquiries and further attention will be paid to the area.
Witnesses should call 101.
