Plans have been submitted to Basildon Council for the redevelopment at Roman Way, Billericay, after a positive public consultation event this summer.
The redevelopment will provide 15 high-quality new homes, 9 of which will be affordable, as part of wider regeneration works in the Borough.
Basildon Council has brought forward plans with public support; at a public consultation in July there was unanimity amongst the residents surveyed that the site needed to be improved. The development is part of the Council’s New Homes Programme, with one of its key aims to transform sites that are no longer fit-for- purpose into welcoming neighbourhoods with desirable homes.

These are exciting proposals for high quality new homes and I would encourage residents to attend a drop in session to take up the opportunity to comment on them before a planning application is submitted[/quote]
