Staff at French Martini, in Western Road, Billericay, have been doing their bit to help the community by providing food and drinks to the NHS and offering a delivery service to customers.

In preparation for re-opening, the restaurant and lounge bar launched a new menu and the business was stacked with orders.

Members of the community expressed their disappointment and anger, with one even offering to replace the glass.

Lisa Howard said:

“I don’t know what is wrong with people. French Martini have done an amazing job during lockdown.”

A spokesman for Essex Police, said

“A window at French Martini Lounge Bar was broken sometime around midnight on June 4. No entry was gained to the building.”
